Large-scale machining
STEVILA manufactures large and complex components for industrial customers who require accuracy, reliability and consistent quality. Our capabilities combine large-scale machining, certified welding and precision metrology, allowing us to manufacture both large machined components and welded structures under one roof.
With machining capabilities of up to 6000 × 2000 × 1500 mm, component weights of up to 10 tonnes, and turning up to Ø2000 mm, we can handle demanding large-part projects from individual components to series production, with a focus on developing long-term manufacturing partnerships.

Integrated manufacturing from welding to inspection
For welded components and structures, our certified welding capabilities provide a reliable foundation for subsequent precision machining. Machining can then be carried out according to the required dimensions and specifications, with quality control and measurement performed in-house. This integrated approach means fewer production handovers and better control over critical manufacturing stages - particularly important for large and complex components where dimensional accuracy and process consistency are essential.
Our FPT Verus 5-axis machining centre combines milling and turning capabilities, enabling complex geometries to be machined efficiently and accurately with fewer setups.

Quality control for large components
Quality control is an integral part of our large-scale manufacturing process. Our in-house metrology capabilities allow us to inspect large components and verify critical dimensions before delivery.
A Hexagon Metrology DEA Mercury horizontal-arm CMM, with a measuring range of up to 6000 × 1600 × 2100 mm, enables the inspection of large components and the preparation of detailed measurement protocols. This gives customers greater confidence that large and complex components meet the requirements.

One manufacturing partner for demanding large parts
From individual machined components to welded structures and precision-machined assemblies, STEVILA combines large-scale machining, certified welding and in-house metrology to provide a controlled manufacturing process under one supply relationship.
