The management of UAB STEVILA understands the importance of the environmental protection and therefore assumes the responsibility for the environmental impact of the company activities and hereby undertakes to:
- Deal with the environment protection problems, within their power, in order to ensure continuous improvement of the environment protection efficiency in all fields of the production by introducing cleaner production and pollution prevention;
- From time to time assess the environment protection effectiveness;
- Arrange environment protection trainings for its employees;
- Involve all the staff into the environmental activities;
- Conform to all relevant environmental legislation;
- Economically and rationally use raw materials and energy resources;
- Where possible, use materials which are the least harmful for the environment;
- Budget funds necessary for the implementation of the established environment protection tasks and objectives;
- Ensure public accessibility to the Environmental Policy.
While setting and pursuing its tasks and objectives for the existing and future production processes, the management of the company shall provide for preventive actions which will enable to reduce the negative impacts of the activities on the environment.
All the employees of the company shall be introduced to the Environmental Policy and must follow its provisions in their job activities.
